Wrapped in micro-suede with a waterproof liner and non-slip base, it’s easy to clean and made to last. Designed to pair perfectly with the hard bottom dog car seat extender to give your pup 40% more room in the back seat to stretch and snooze.

Custom made to fit DOG GO Hard Base Seat Covers to cover footwell space when coupled with our hard bottom car and prevent footwell fall.
Universal fit for most car back seat space. We recommend measuring out your car back seat space prior to purchase.
Care Instructions
We recommend regularly cleaning your dog bed to keep it fresh and comfortable for your dog (and you, of course).
When Your Bed Arrives
- Unbox, unroll and lay the mattress flat.
- Allow up to 24 hours for the foam to fully expand after vacuum packing. Your dog can still enjoy it straight away.
- Some creasing is normal due to compression and will naturally soften after a few days.
- If needed, gently adjust the insert towards the back bolster so the cover sits snugly and the front seam aligns with the edge of the mattress.
Cleaning the Cover
- Unzip and remove the cover before washing.
- Gentle machine wash or hand wash at a cool temperature with mild detergent.
- Wash with similar colours and avoid bleach or harsh chemicals.
- Hang to dry - do not tumble dry.
Cleaning the Foam Insert
- Our beds include a waterproof liner to help protect the foam from spills and accidents.
- Regularly air out the foam insert in a dry, sunny spot to keep it fresh.
- If needed, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Allow the foam to dry completely before reassembling the bed.

At DOG GO, we take your dog’s health (and yours) seriously. That’s why we only use OEKO-TEX® and CertiPUR-US® certified materials in our beds and covers.
OEKO-TEX® Certified:
This certification means the fabrics we use are rigorously tested for harmful substances. It’s one of the most trusted labels in the world for textile safety. When you see OEKO-TEX®, you can rest easy knowing our materials are free from toxins, allergens, and skin irritants — making them safe for dogs, kids, and the environment.
CertiPUR-US® Certified Foam:
This applies to the orthopedic memory foam inside our travel beds. CertiPUR-US® certification ensures the foam is made without harmful chemicals like formaldehyde, heavy metals, PBDEs, or ozone depleters. It’s also low in VOCs (volatile organic compounds), which improves indoor air quality — and keeps your dog breathing easy.
In short: these certifications aren’t just badges — they’re proof that we’ve gone the extra mile to make your dog’s travel bed as safe, clean, and responsible as possible.
What are the benefits of the dog car bed?

Is the dog car bed washable?
Yes, simply remove the foam mat and throw the cover into the washing machine. Pair with different covers to switch up the colors and materials personalized to your dog's needs. Machine wash on a gentle/cold cycle with mild detergent. For best results, hang dry or tumble dry on low heat.
Can I use it with my car seat cover backseat extender?
Absolutely, we custom designed the dog car bed specifically to pair with our hard bottom car seat cover extender. It also works great as a normal bed, couch cover, and more.
Can I use it on its own?
The dog car bed is custom-fit to sit on top of our car seat cover extender as this bridges the gaps in the footwell to prevent the dog from falling. We do not recommend using it in the rear seats of the car without the extender.
However, it can be used at home, in the office, on the couch, or anywhere else that suits.
